Sharp creamy concentrated nose of sweet spice with hints of nail polish (volatiles). In the mouth concentrated, light sour ripe fruit (blackberry, hints of dark cherry), with slight smoke. Finishes well. Body medium, acid medium tannin medium minus. Off dry to dry. Good QPR.
I am trying this varietal for the first time because I read an article and like to try new things. I can tell you this: It is different. Starting with the color which is a dark red-light purple. The nose is fruit and spice, but the taste is nothing I know. Foreign spice notes and earthy, and funky. Not sure I like it. I will try another bottle to make sure its not a problem with this bottling

Mittleres Rubinrot. Rote Frucht. Schön eingebundenes Holz. Kraftvoll und doch sehr weich. Ein Geheimtyp!
