Barbaresco Bordini 2006

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

smells soft and neutral, sweet and roasty, with some meaty Nebbiolo fruit at its core, soft, neutral, with some dark Nebbiolo fruit at its core, not much to this except for some black spice fruit, finish is kind of nice a bit chunky but with nice wild cherry and spice flavors, opens up with air in the mouth, good stuff.

gingerbread, nice slightly cooked, slightly reduced cherry fruit, decent freshness up front, powerful and dense with a nice core of sweet/savory fruit, nice crisp tannins, broad and high n the mouth with lots of tobacco tones, almost restaurant styled in that sense v good, with a rich finish, nicely captured fruit.
