Barbadillo Manzanilla Palomino Fino Vino de la Tierra de Cádiz 2010
Made of 100% Palomino Fina, Barbadillo Palomino is fermented in stainless steel with no aging to mute its freshness. It is very clean and bright, pale-yellow in color, and fresh, yet subtle on the palate with low acidity and modest alcohol (12%). The wine is best served well-chilled as an aperitif or with light fare.

The Palomino grape in a dry and clean, unfortified version is necessarily gentle and approachable; its complexity is found in its dry and sweet versions of fortified Sherry. With its lemon and orange hints, red apple notes, dry stones and almond skins, and little hints of banana in the nose and mouth, this wine, served chilled and fresh, is very refreshing with with some seafood or shellfish.
