<br/> This wine has been made from 100% Grenache, strengthened to 17 % alcohol (with 100 g/l of residual sugar) and then aged in barrel (rather than in demi-johns in an oxidative fashion as is the case for some Banyuls). The result is a wine of great intensity ands purity, with notes of cassis and morello cherry backed up by hints of earth and bitter chocolate.
