Winemaker's Notes:

Clear bright, straw colour with youthful green tinges. A very interesting nose with quite a different aromatic profile to previous Bannockburn Sauvignon Blancs. There is musk, rose, passionfruit and guava evident. Quite a rich and decadent nose, even exotic. There are also the more restrained sauvignon characters of river pebbles, minerality, and subtle wood-derived smokiness. The palate is dry and very long. The flavours are very restrained with subtle smoke and gravelly "sauvage" characters. It is very well balanced with back palate grip giving good length.
