Nice garnet color. A little plum on the nose. Not a real big bouquet though. A little cherry, some pepper and licorice on the palate. Well balanced but nothing that makes me go "wow". Not a bad wine but I can find better in this price range. To be fair though, I've had much worse in this price range too.

Food Pairings for Banfi Chianti DOCG Superiore
Intense ruby in color with shades of violet. A fruit-forward bouquet with some floral notes. Round and well balanced with black-cherry flavors and hints of spice. Well structured with good acidity for dining and a lingering finish.
