Winemakers Notes
Deep mauve red color. On the nose fruity notes of raspberry and plums, but also spicy hints of coffee, liquorices and cinnamon. The complex structure, soft and round at the same time, makes this wine particularly elegant. Long finish.

Reviews for 2007 Vintage
A tasty blend of multitudes of flavors from a posh aerated septic tank. Hints of tampax with small snippets of Charmin, with just a spice of clorox. I love the velvelty finish, harkening back to old John.
Decent. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Good with food, pleasant on its own.
Polished stone, mineral and milky blueberry tones make up the dense fabric of this well-concentrated blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Banfirsquo;s Centine is inky and dark in appearance and offers aromas of raw fruit and Indian spice. The mouthfeel is chewy and soft.
A succlent, chewy Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend with a pretty ruby color and intense aromas of coffee, tar, leather and toasted wood. The tannins are still a bit raw and beg for hearty meat. Tightly packed cherry and blackberry linger over a long finish. Castello Banfi performs the extraordinary vintage after vintage: Itrsquo;s almost a one million case per year winery and it continues to offer excellent quality on its lowest priced products.
Centine blends sangiovese (60 percent) with cabernet and merlot, melding together in a red fruit scent and tight black tannins. Itrsquo;s a simple, fresh Tuscan red for steak Florentine.
This Italian red is not only ready for drinking, it wonrsquo;t strain the budget. Itrsquo;s very ripe in style, a bit rustic, with raisin and spice character, medium body, soft tannins and a fresh finish. Go for it.
Easy, chewy, slightly bitter and plush, Centine is an everyday red wine that offers nostalgic hints of Tuscany. Bold cherry flavors make it a good match to pizza and pasta.
A soft, light blend of Sangiovese with Cabernet and Merlot, great for pasta with tomatoes and sausage.
A fruity red, with clean currant and blackberry character on a medium body. This has a pleasant finish, with a subtle coating of black olive over the light, velvety tannins. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now.
