Ballot-Millot et Fils Meursault Rouge 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Meursault is an Appellation d'origine contrôlée (AOC) in the Côte de Beaune subregion of the Burgundy wine region. It lies along the foot of the Côte-d'Or escarpment, around Beaune and with the broad Saône valley plain to its east. Red wines are atypical of this region. Many have similar notes to Volnay - light and aromatic, and elegant rather than powerful but has more of a rustic tannic structure on the backend.
