What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.

Winemakers Notes

This pale straw colored wine is refreshing and delicious with enticing green apple and melon flavors that harmonize well. The grapes were harvested in October of 2006 and 722 cases of this wine were produced. Balletto has been named one of Santa Rosa’s top ten wineries and offers Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Zinfandel. The 2006 Teresa’s Chardonnay is estate bottled.

A very appealing nose of red apples balanced with the right amount of oak. A soft spiciness finishes the wine and rounds it out well.
