Bailey’s Irish Cream is the world’s best known cream liqueur, produced by Gilbeys of Ireland. The product launched in the early 1970’s and was the first to successfully combine and package the ingredients - essentially cream, milk, eggs, honey, chocolate and Irish whisky - in such a way that it can be stored for up to 2 years from release date without separation, added preservatives (aside from the liquor) or spoilage. Yep, it is actually possible to store an open bottle of Bailey’s without refrigeration for up to two years when stored away from direct sunlight. Bailey’s guarantees an all natural product, with 75% of the ingredients (mainly the dairy and the whisky) sourced from within Ireland. The whisky used is a blend from several distilleries including Jameson and Bushmills.    The sweet cream liqueur can be found in most any bar and retail establishment. It has a wide variety of uses from sipping neat, on the rocks, in cocktails such as a White Russian (Bailey’s and vodka) or simply added to coffee.  Read less
