Badia a Coltibuono Vin Santo 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Vin Santo is made from the native white Tuscan grapes Trebbiano and Malvasia. After harvest, the grapes are hung up in a well-ventilated room and left to dry for at least three months before being pressed. The juice is then allowed to ferment in small oak barrels which are sealed and it is left to age for a minimum of four years. Deliciously sweet but not heavy and traditionally used for the dunking of biscotti as a dessert or after. *_HALF-BOTTLE_*
