Badarina' Barolo DOCG 2006

Member Review by vin0vin0:

Very nice but not overwhelming Barolo. Plenty of dark blue and black fruit, somewhat big and grainy tannins and medium crisp acidity. However, this seems a bit shallow and not as layered or complex as most decent Barolo.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
