- A wine of medium body with intense ripe fruit flavors and aromas. It has good length, and finds the right balance between acidity and the sweetness of the fruit.

- Number 38 on the Wine.com 100 of 2007! Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2007! Josip Babich was one of the fathers of the Kiwi wine industry, planting his first vines in 1916. His three children, Joe, Peter and Maureen, control the company now, and several grandchildren are involved. Winemaker Adam Hazeldine used two Marlborough vineyards, one in Awatere Valley and the other in Waihopai Valley, to make this Sauvignon Blanc. 85,000 cases made.
