Babich Sauvignon Blanc 2011

Winemaker's Notes:

This wine has a bouquet that is bursting with passionfruit, gooseberry and red current. The palate is rich, sweet fruited and complex with layers of guava, passionfruit and gooseberry. The acid/fruit balance is excellent with a lovely herbal flinty character and a lingering perfume on the finish. This is a reason why Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is so famous. Enjoy!

Sweet and juicy tropical fruits merge with delicate floral and some herbal notes to create enticing and lifted aromas on the nose. The palate is refined with good acid and full of the rich flavours of pineapple, lime, green apple and stone fruit. An enjoyable wine with an elegant citrus and mineral finish.

The nose displays gooseberry, herbal and tropical notes. It has a delicious palate with a full fruited entry, again gooseberry layered with rock melon and a zesty long mineral / herbal finish. This is the classic Babich style that complements a variety of foods, or drinks equally well on its own. - WineryAlcohol: 13.0%TA: 8g/lpH: 3.3Residual Sugar: 4g/l
