Good core of juicy fruitiness, with a definite red bent (black cherry and currant), notes of cherry cola and some notes of earthy spices (sage, cumin) and minerals; vibrant acidity and firm tannins. Well balanced, medium bodied but plenty of complex flavors.Oak expressed as luscious mix of vanilla and coconut early on, more subtle as the wine opened up. Moderate finish. Overall, enjoyed this very much, would definitely buy again.

Winemaker's Notes:

This Merlot exhibits classic flavors of cedar, chocolate, raspberry and black cherry. Aging in premium French oak barrels brings integration, complexity and balance. A rich, full palette and silky tannins lead into a delicious, lingering finish.
