Azienda Agricola Il Tarocco Chianti Classico 2004

Member Review by Phil Myers:

Decanter wine of the month August 2006 - There tasting notes were "Integrated tannins and acidity contribute to an elegant, long and structured mouthful from this tuscan sangoviese. The 10% of Canaiolo adds softness to the restrained cherry nose and palate, drinking well now but will last a year or two. Bought two bottles £9.49 - Oddbins Drank first August 2007 - Sirloin steak white wine sauce. Excellent, big and fruity, with a slightly spicy initial taste

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
