Deze Prosecco, Cuvée del Fondatore Graziano genaamd, durven we nu al te scharen in een vrij exclusief groepje wijnen die iets met je doen. Heel voorzichtig durven we uitspraken te doen als ‘misschien wel de lekkerste Prosecco die we kennen’. Merotto is een Italiaans wijnhuis wat bekend is geworden door haar Prosecco’s. Het produceert ook zeer interessante rode wijn. Absoluut een aanrader om eens wat onderzoek aan te wijden. Prosecco is gemaakt van 100 % Glera druif. Deze druif treffen we alleen aan in frizzante en spumante wijnen. Een synoniem voor deze witte druif is Prosecco of Prosecco Bianco. Hij is afkomstig uit de heuvels boven Treviso in de Veneto-regio. In het glas is deze Prosecco strogeel, een klein beetje groenig zelfs, de mousse is erg mooi en erg zacht. In de neus maakt hij een erg mineralige indruk, fraai gecombineerd met het zure van wit fruit en citrus. Ook in de mond is dit geheel ronduit heerlijk, gecombineerd met de sprankelende frisse mousse! Hij kost bijna 17 euro per fles, geen koopje maar absoluut waar voor je geld. Fantastisch! Supersnobs.nl
