External Reviews for Ayala Blanc de Blancs Champagne Blend Wine
Light yellow. Candied citrus fruits, white flowers and chalky minerals on the fragrant nose. Juicy, penetrating and pure, offering lively orange and lemon zest flavors with suggestions of honeysuckle and ginger. Shows a strong mineral quality on the penetrating finish, which features a hint of toasted almond. The bottling that I reviewed last year had no disgorgement date on the back label but this one does.
An open-knit texture is focused by firm acidity while rich notes of leesy bread dough and smoky roast nut add depth to flavors of kumquat, tangy apple, white peach and lemon peel, with an aromatic finish. Disgorged January 2010. Drink now through 2019.

Pale gold in colour with a lovely youthful glint, the mousse of AYALA’s Blanc de Blancs is superb as is it’s distinguished necklaces of bubbles. The nose is intense and expressive with notes of ripe citrus, honey, dried fruit and a very subtle touch of toast. The palate is generous and perfectly balanced despite the wine’s relative youth. The even structure of the blend ensures a very pleasant finish on the palate. Blanc de Blancs is a light and elegant cuvee which beautifully harmonizes intense character and a delicate youthful touch.
Notes: AGEING The wine is aged 5 years in our cellars before disgorgement in order to develop complexity, intensity and roundness.
