This rich, powerful white has a full-bodied, muscular structure, with a good balance of acidity. Dense flavors of pineapple, vanilla, spice and mineral mingle through the long finish. Distinctive. Drink now through 2014. 400 cases imported. -TM Light gold, with a hint of green. Citrus fruits, ginger, mint and minerals on the high-pitched nose. Intense and dry in the mouth, with serious power to its orchard fruit, spice and floral flavors. Finishes energetic and very persistent, with a strong jolt of minerality and excellent clarity. This baby will benefit from more bottle age, as the 2009 proved to me.

Winemaker's Notes:

The grapes for this wine come from two very old vineyards,70 and 85 years old, planted on vaso system on the hillsides facing south on soils made of decomposed black slate and quartz located at 550 m (1,800 ft) above sea level. The grapes are hand-harvested into small baskets to prevent bruising.
