Winemaker's notes: Wine Description In September, high quality grapes were selected from carefully tended vineyards. Firm bubbles were generated using the Méthode Traditionnelle. The wine acquired a distinctive mousseux due to the use of yeasts indigenous to Champagne, France. The dosage was made with local sweet wine. Tasting Notes The Grüner Veltliner is delicate yet complex, with a mellow citrus color- appealing peppery note, elegantly fresh fruit and fine Mousseux with an invigorating finish.
Amazing. Still sparkling the next day. Can you believe it's a screw top!?? Had half the bottle the first day and no headache! 10% alcohol by vol. Semi-sparkling, dry. Not the best sparkling I ever had but for the price and screwtop and good buzz without headache, highly recommend!
Dry, rich, with some savory flavors, but also a bit of citrus. Very nice bubbly.
I believe each wine should be judged on its own merits and not in competition with others. In that regard, this wine is simply fabulous. For $4.99 you can't beat this with a stick. Not too sweet, not too dry, not too bubbly. At $4.99 it's cheaper than not drinking. Drank a bottle with some stir fry and the pairing was delightful. I'd keep a bottle of this on hand at all times. Seriously, EVERYBODY loves a nice light, sparkling white and its extremely useful to have on hand.
Nice bubbly from Burgenland, Austria I got to sample at a recent tasting. The cremant-like wine offers tons of tiny, creamy bubbles and a floral nose with great acidity. Golden in color, this wine is a great option when looking for an affordable sparkling wine.
clean, crisp, delicious to me, a nonsparkler fan
