Aubert Pinot Noir Uv Vineyard 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

97 points Robert Parker: The amazing 2004 Pinot Noir UV Vineyard, made from the Calera clone of Pinot Noir, is named after Aubert’s superb viticultural manager, Ulises Valdez. This Sonoma Coast vineyard has produced a prodigious wine exhibiting gorgeous aromas of blueberries, black raspberries, plums, forest floor, and violets. Full-bodied with superb underlying acidity, layers of texture and richness yet unbelievably surreal and light on the palate, this stunning wine can be consumed over the next decade. (Dec 2006)

this is a perfect wine. if only i received more than just 2 bottles from my allocation. i totally disagree with the "professionals" ratings and would give this closer to 98.
