Dark purple color. Notes of black cherry and coffee. Fruit forward, explosive cherry flavors. Huge tannins. This was tasted prior to decanting. After decanting for 3 hrs the wine opened up nicely, tannins softened and it had lovely complexity with a smooth vanilla finish.
