Atlantis Rose 2012

External Review by Prestige Wine & Spirits:

The 2012 Rose Atlantis (from Santorini but in the Cyclades appellation) is 80% Assyrtiko and 20% Mandilaria. This has crispness, but also a very fruity demeanor that makes it completely delicious. Easygoing and very tasty, it should be a picnic and party favorite. Drink now–2014.

Assyrtiko’s acidity gives this rosé drive and sparkle; 20 percent of mandilaria adds a strawberry blush to the citrusy fruit, and herbal notes complement the saline minerality. It’s as elegant as it is refreshing, a rosé for grilled shrimp this summer.
