Ash Ridge Syrah/Viognier 2009

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Very floral, seems like more than the noted 2% Viognier, though there is also a fair amount of aromatic wood here. Broad and a bit soft in the mouth, with nice fruit and spice leaning more to juniper than pepper. With a stony base, moderately lightweight and really fresh fruit flavors of blackberry and huckleberry, this is refreshing right through the sapid finish. 87pts
