Artesa Pinot Noir California 2008
With a dazzling ruby color this wine greets the taster with beautiful aromas of cherry, raspberry and plum sprinkled with cinnamon, leather and a hint of caramel. A vibrant entry leads to layers of ripe, red berry flavors that are brightened with a delectable acidity that lengthens the finish. Supple tannins add texture, while spicy notes of clove, cinnamon and sweet oak intensify the complexity of this classic Carneros Pinot Noir.
Cherry, tobacco, and notes of spice. Short to medium length on finish. Easy to drink pinot noir.

Very good tasting Pinot Noir.
Ruby to cherry color. Bright fruit nose with cherry, raspberry and strawberry. Clear, fruity, and mildly sweet on the attack followed by subtler raspberry notes; very mild oak as it opens. Medium finish with clove or cinnamon spiciness, mild tannins. Light but adequate texture with a slightly crisp mouth feel. Slightly acidic. Slightly crisp, autumnal character, maybe best paired with turkey dinner or the like. Light but distinct flavor, some complexity, just enough body to be drinkable on its own.
