Artesa Chardonnay Reserve 2006
Aromatically and by mouth this wine is full of pear, green apple, vanilla dusted creme brulee with a hint of pineapple. Balanced, seamless, multi-layered and elegant; this wine has a triple creme brie texture that melts into a lingering lemon tart, baked pear, toasted vanilla bean and butterscotch finish. Excellent balance enables the fruit to dance on the tongue through the entire taste and provides the structure to age gracefully.
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
Buttery, creamy, oaked
Typical cali chard. Oak'ed and buttery. Creamy. Fruit hidden by the oak. If you like this style you like this wine. I did find the weight to be good. The finish was a lackluster.
