Artazuri Rosado Garnacha 2011
Bright and clean, this wine is light strawberry in color with a fresh nose that contains delicate aromas of fruits such as red currants, raspberries and strawberries, intertwined with floral notes of acacia and almond. The palate gracefully mimics the nose and its well-balanced finish makes it the perfect accompaniment for any casual dining experience, or with any ligher fare.
Editorial Reviews for Artazuri Rosado Garnacha
This smells lean and a bit mean with mineral notes accenting barely ripe raspberry fruit, topped with a hint of green herb and some lemon pith. On the palate it shows lovely ripe raspberry and strawberry fruit, framed by solid acidity and a nice bit of fizz from some trapped CO2. There are really lovely spice nuances here as well as some floral and herbal top notes that add compelling complexity. Fine-grained tannins grab a hold of the palate alongside the CO2 and yield a long, slightly savory and accented finish. 88pts
Very nice light creamy and stone fruit filled nose with tropical notes. Bright acidity on the body, very lively. Fun to drink! Really nice mouthfeel on the finish.
I really enjoyed this wine, even while drinking it during colder weather- can't wait to try it on a summer afternoon. Fresh bouquet, grapefruit and citrus on the nose. Light and crisp, with a refreshing touch acidity and strawberries and citrus flavors on the palate. I would drink it again and even look for this wine.
