Artazuri Navarra Garnacha 2009
An approachable wine that boasts heady aromas, succulent fruit, and a good natural acidity, the Artazuri Garnacha is an ideal everyday wine. Bright cherry-red in color, it has redolent aromas of ripe forest berries, lavender, and violet. Well-balanced and medium-bodied on the palate, the wine is full of ripe fruit that persists through the finish.

The 2009 Artazuri Garnacha is deep purple in color with an inviting nose of spice box, floral notes, and ripe black cherries. Dense, rich, and nicely proportioned on the palate, it has several years of aging potential but can be approached now. -Jay ... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Food Pairings for Artazuri Navarra Garnacha
This big powerful Garnacha shows its typical flavors of strawberries, raspberries, black pepper, and mint. There are lashings of barrel spice in the middle and in the clean, almost mild finish, which, enhanced by deft American oak vanillin notes, is rather elegant for such a showy wine.
150000 bottles produced.
Notes: 4-6 months in French oak
