Food Pairings for Artadi Tempranillo
This wine replaces the entry-level wine previously shipped under the 'Orobio' label. A better fruit selection (the use of bought-in fruit has ceased) yields a sense of depth and personality elevating this to a quite premium-looking commercial wine. Gentle oak treatment (9 months in 1, 2 and 3 y.o. French oak) gives savoury, elegant maturity without any hint of oakiness. There's shiny red-black berries with sweet purple florals, mature tannins and an unmistakable sense of Rioja. Juicy, touches of meat, herb and earth, and perfect articulation of fruit/fruit tannin/fruit acid.
