Winemaker's Notes:

"From the back label: This 2004 Arrowood proprietary white, Côte de Lune Blanc, is composed of Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier. This blend of traditional Rhône white varieties yields a nicely complex wine rich in character and deliciously balanced. Produced and hand crafted in limited quantities from grapes grown in Saralee's Vineyard in the heart of the Russian River Valley, this wine represents our fifth offering of this lovely cuvee of Rhône whites. Approximately 400 cases were produced. "

Tasting Notes:

This is a broad, generous Cabernet with incredible depth and complexity. The color is dark from center to rim. The bouquet is highly aromatic with notes of cassis, currants, vanilla and toast. The extended oak aging tamed the tannins and added rich, textural notes to the wine. Thick, round and mouth filling, it is a wine that combines power and grace.
