WA 94pts - Winemaker Notes - We believe that our finest wines are those that best reflect their terroir, or the vineyards in which they were grown. The grapes for this fresh, full-bodied wine were grown in the Alta Vista Vineyards located in the Sonoma-Los Carneros region. The region's distinctive cool climate allows for grapes to ripen slowly giving them more time to develop flavors. The region's cool climate also tends to produce Chardonnay grapes with higher acidity. The resulting wines are often a vibrant fruit experience with a crisp finish.

It displays deep, rich honeysuckle notes intermixed with notions of nectarines, orange blossoms, butterscotch, vanilla, white peaches, baked apples, and pears. This complex Chardonnay should drink well for 4-5 years. Wine Tasting Notes Our Reserve Speciale has a commanding bouquet of citrus, vanilla and creme brulee. The palate is richly concentrated, but still agile and balanced. The finish is long, structured and pure.
