The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a potent, sweet, rich offering displaying the ripe California style of 2002. This should turn out to be a very fine effort with plenty of black currant fruit intermixed ... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from California in USA. 2002 Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml
Wine Spectator ReviewA brilliant effort, the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma is a sleeper of the vintage. A deep ruby/purple color is followed by loads of black currant fruit intermixed with hints of smoke, earth, dried herbs, and licorice. It possesses full body, wonderful ripeness and purity, a layered mouthfeel, and a velvety texture. Moreover, it is fairly priced.Wine Tasting NotesThis wine is a mouthful of Cabernet Sauvignona big, bold California Caberneta stellar production! Cedar, cassis, cherry and cigar box with nuances of saddle leather rise out of the glass, tantalizing your senses. On the palate, concentrated flavors of ripe black fruits, cassis and cherry fill the mouth, with solid tannins giving it backbone. Cassis and cherry linger on in the long, structured finish. In using our non-interventional approach to winemaking, this wine was neither fined or filtered in order to preserve its vibrant varietal character.
