Arrogant Frog Lily Pad Red 2010

External Review by Palm Bay International:

Lily Pad Red 2007 - Gourmet/ I couldn’t resist the Arrogant Frog Lily Pad Red ’07, not only because its name is silly enough to raise a laugh at the table – and why not? – but also because this blend of youthfully fruity Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is surprisingly mellow, delicious, and not arrogant at all.

Lily Pad Red 2008/ There’s an appealing herbal aroma to this medium- to full-bodied red, which features dark plum, kirsch and tobacco leaf flavors. Balanced, with a mineral-filled finish.

Lily Pad Red 2007 - Newsday/ As the post-election celebrations and recriminations get going and the economy continues its countdown, here are some recession busters. Southwest France offers the blunt 2007 Arrogant Frog Lily Pad Red, trés modest and plummy.

Lily Pad Red 2008 - 86 Points & Best Buy, Wine Enthusiast/ Though the premise of the brand name is a little goofy, there's no laughing at the value represented here. A solid, light-weight red with vibrant cherry, juicy strawberry, raspberry preserves and blackberry notes with a kiss of vanilla on the finish.

Lily Pad Red - Best Buy, Wine Enthusiast/ Blackberry and cassis flood the nose and mouth of this blend, with a touch of greenness and earthy spice adding depth. Gripping tannins take hold on the palate but fade nicely into the tobacco-leaf-tinged finish.
