[Stromboli sicilian pizza] beautiful ruby red color; like a little explosion in your mouth. Didn't like it with the pizza as much as the pasta. After finishing it I decided to buy another case. (****)

[pasta, tomatoes, eggplant, basil, mozzarella] ruby red color; red fruit in aroma and taste; medium bodied, great balance red fruit followed by a envigorating burst of tannins which decrescendo through the long finish. KAB was "very sad when the wine was gone." Buy it by the case. (****)

[pasta] One of my favorites. Opened as I expected bright fruit nice long finish. However the bottled started to become thin and lighter in body later in the evening. By the next day, it was watery with almost no taste. Hope this was an abberration

Not sure if this is bottle variation or evolution, but my first few bottles motivated me to buy a case. In fact, I thought it was the best value that I owned. Now I find this wine uninspired. It now seems to lack the liveliness of the earlier bottles. I hope it was just a bad run b/c I still have more.
