Armand Roux Red Bordeaux Blend Bordeaux Contrôlée Verdillac 2007
This is a good white Bordeaux. This one had a long finish, a little earthy and tannic for a white. Something you'd pour on a weekday with a salad. Nothing to brag about nothing to complain about.Add winemaker's notes

Not a bad blend of grape varieties. Earthy aromas with hints of smoke and blackberry. Bold tannins with a constant background of black fruits. Finish was nice but somewhat muted. Possibly would open up if I had decanted it for about an hour. I would not mind trying this wine a second time.
Interesting nose with black cherry, wood, smoke, and herbal notes taking the spotlight. Smooth, buttery body with a rounded feel in the mouth. Firm tannins. Acidity is noticeable but not out of balance with the rest of the wine. This wine seems young and a little closed to me at this point. I would recommend decanting this wine for a bit before serving.
