- Here the nose is much more reserved with a potent but subtle mix of dark berry fruit aromas plus subtle game and earth notes that continue onto the sweet, seductive, textured and slightly toasty flavors that are notably powerful and strikingly long. This is awkward today but the quality of the raw material is really very impressive.
