Arizona Stronghold Tazi 2008

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

A full-bodied, unctuous style, with lots of tangerine, apricot, lemon peel and grapefruit pulp notes backed by a broad, slightly waxy edge on the finish. Atypical, but will have some fans for its overt character. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling and Malvasia Bianca.

What? Wine from Arizona? It sure is! The Tazi is a yummy dry white blend featuring Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling and Malvasia Bianca. Rich and inviting, with a smooth mouthfeel and lush orchard fruit flavors, it drinks so well on its own that itrsquo;s easy to overlook the pairing possibilities. (Just in case you were wondering, Irsquo;d serve it with fondue, roasted chicken with cream sauce or soft-shell crab.)
