Arista Winery Pinot Noir Longbow(2002)

Arista's owner, John Copeland, traces his family history to England in 1346 when King Edward III knighted Sir John Copeland, honoring his prowess with the longbow. Handcrafted, with bowstrings of silk, the longbow made England a dominant power; the archers were the elite of England's infantry. Arista's Longbow is the Winemaker's Selection - focused, powerful and intense. From vineyards in the Russian River Valley, this wine delivers full, ripe black cherry with notes of cola and sassafras. Toasty oak blends with firm tannins and abundant fruit, creating a complex wine.
