Argyriou Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

In the Argyrios vineyards in Parnassos the classic cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon in 550m altitude, the argillaceous and sloping grounds and the distinctiveness of the microclimate offer the conditions for the creation of a Cabernet representative of the region's terroir. Rich aroma, delicacy, deep red colour, round taste, velvet after-taste.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Richly-coloured. Very slight hints of red fruit in the nose. Slightly thin and stringent taste: not unpleasant, and softens in the after-taste.
