What to Expect

Vermentino, also known as Rolle in France, commonly comes from the island of Sardinia off the coast of Italy, where it produces light white wines redolent of lemon and lime leaves with an almost salty mineral twang.

Winemakers Notes

"The 2007 Costamolino is primarily Vermentino with a small addition of other local varieties. This is a gorgeous white with layers of perfume-laced fruit that flow from the glass. Made in a linear, minerally style, the wine possesses excellent length, balance and class. In short, it is a terrific entry-level bottling.
