Archèe Salento IGT Primitivo/Negroamaro 2010
Good. A bit dry for my taste. Like blackberries.
Have not had this wine in many years! Remembered that I liked it....and found it again! Nice wine with lots of cherry up front on the nose. Soft tannins and a nice balanced medium body with good structure. Just a great wine for around $25. Wonderful floral notes on the nose! But not easy to find! Enjoy! Cheers!

Mourvedre, Grenache. Mineral and raspberry aromas to this dark wine. Frais de bois and raspberry flavors. Very nice, rich mouthfeel and a concentration of flavors in the midpalate. Chalky, stony finish.
Melon, white flowers, and mandarin peel aromas and flavors. Nice body.
Great perfume, with wonderful fruit and stoniness underneath. Great acidity, too. Honey, apples, melon. Wonderful food wine.

Generous yet focused, this modern red delivers black cherry, currant, licorice and mineral flavors, framed by toast and coffee notes. Offers a sleek, firm texture and a long, floral finish. Drink now through 2018.
There are berry flavors on the palate and a very pleasant savory finish. The first time we tried this wine we were blown away by both the structure of the wine on the palate and the beautiful, elegant, lively finish.
Crisp and focused, with dark berry and licorice flavors accenting notes of white pepper and sage. Finishes with prickly tannins. Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Best from 2014 through 2018.
Tasca’s 2010 Nero d’Avola Lamuri is flat-out gorgeous. Sweet floral and minty notes meld in a seamless core of deep, expressive red fruit in this impeccable, totally gracious wine. In 2010 the Lamuri impresses for its overall balance and pure class. This is one of the more refined, polished Nero d’Avolas readers will come across. It is also a fabulous value. Anticipated maturity: 2013–2020.
Glass-staining purple. An expressive, heady bouquet gives out candied red fruits, potpourri and Asian spices, with a smoky nuance gaining power in the glass. Rich but lively, offering vibrant raspberry and cherry-cola flavors and notes of allspice and star anise. Sweet and silky on a finish that keeps on with impressive tenacity and spiciness. This wine always delivers outstanding value.
