Vintage: 2009 11/13/2010

Rating: 88/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the September 2010 issue. It is said that good things come in threes, and for the third year in a row, Columbia Crest's "Two Vine" Riesling delivers lots of bright and buoyant fruit with near-perfect balance between its medium sugars and cleansing acidity. That it does so at an out-and-out bargain price makes this good thing even better, and, it is certain to stay fresh and alive for two or three years.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Unlikely to improve with further aging.

Rating: 88/100 - As reviewed by Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine (www.cgcw.com) in the September 2010 issue. The last vintage of Two Vines Riesling was one of the year's big surprises, and Columbia Crest has hit the mark for both quality and outstanding value once again. A fresh and buoyant wine of evident sweetness, it is far more about bright, Riesling-like fruit than it is about sugar, and, as easy as it is to taste now, it is so nicely constructed that it will keep well for several years should you elect to buy it by the case.Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine aging recommendation: Drinkable now. Unlikely to improve with further aging.

Intense aromas of apple tropical fruit and spice are complimented by a hint of minerality. Rich flavors of fresh fruit linger on the palate and are accentuated by crisp acidity leading to a lively vibrant finish. Ray Einberger Winemaker
