Fresh and crisp in style, with crunchy acidity supporting the chive, thyme and lemon zest notes. Bracing finish. Drink now. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 3,315 cases made. -JMThe medium straw-colored 2008 Sauvignon Blanc delivers a perfume of citrus and passion fruit with some fresh herb notes in the background. It bears a resemblance to its first cousin, the 2008 Errazuriz Sauvignon Blanc, but without the same degree of concentration and depth. Nevertheless, it is a fine effort for drinking over the next 12-18 months.Light yellow. Pungent, impressively precise aromas of lime, grapefruit, herbs and smoky minerals. Deeper orchard fruits dominate the palate, with bitter citrus zest notes adding grip and slow-mounting minerality contributing a dry edge. The firm finish shows good grip and cut. On the austere side and sure to please those who like their white wines fat-free.

Pale lemon yellow in color with a clear rim. Fresh ripe juice on the nose with big honeydew and candied citrus back by a touch of crisp asparagus and flint. The palate entry is fresh and bright with Meyer lemon and sweet melon. A great spicy kick com... Mike Supple. A Sauvignon Blanc wine from Leyda Valley in Chile. 2006 Arboleda Sauvignon Blanc 750ml

Wine Tasting NotesThe Arboleda Sauvignon Blanc is intensely aromatic. Gooseberry and citrus characters are complemented by distinctive notes of green Serrano pepper, green (bell) pepper, and freshly cut grass. Lively acidity keeps the mouthfeel clean and fresh. At the same time, the wine has good weight on the palate, with an elegant structure and round finish.
This Arboleda Sauvignon Blanc from Aconcagua Costa has a straw-yellow colour with green highlights. With extraordinary aromatic intensity, the wine is a true reflection of its terroir and its proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Its mineral notes are accompanied by green chilli, tomato leaf, and fresh herbal tones and a sharp aromatic intensity. A refreshing mineral palate and crisp acidity make this wine a fine example of this cold climate variety, which also offers liveliness and exotic fruit for an enjoyably lengthy finish.
