Good wine for the price in the inexpensive red blend category.
The wine is not bad in general - it has a good balance and interesting taste but it's unexpectedly sweet and seems like contains some fresh juice... or may be it's too young...
2008 vintage. Recommended by Anya. Alcohol and tar in the aroma. A blend of shiraz, zinfandel, and merlot from California. It adds up to a flavorful mix, with well balanced tannins, sweetness, and sourness. A dash of stale sweetness doesn't spoil the party. A good budget wine.

Clean and graceful table wine.
This is a truly bad wine: extremely sweet, with no hint of sharpness or subtlety. Like drinking blackcurrant juice, this is a red wine for people who don't like red wine.
A good middle of the road red blend. Apothic Red isn't too sweet or too full-bodied, and is excellent for introducing beginning wine drinkers to a red. It functions well as a table wine, as it is very easy to drink.
