Aphillanthes Cotes-du-Rhone Rose 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

Previous vintage named L.A. Times Wine of the Week: ...scented with rose petals and strawberries. Made from a blend of Cinsault with Grenache, Counoise (one of the more obscure grapes that goes into a Chateauneuf-du-Pape blend) and a touch of Mourvèdre, it is full-bodied and delicious -- and finishes really dry. A rosé like this one can go with almost anything summer dining has to offer -- soupe des poissons, shrimp, octopus, niçoise salad and steak tartare.
