Tasting Notes: 18/20:Guide des Sommeliers ---------------------------------Deep ruby colour, ripe red berries and cooked fruits aromas, full-body, round, integrated tannins, long finish and deep wine. Percentage Grape: 100% Gamay Soil: 50 year old vines planted in granitic, schisteous soils Date of Harvest: 2003/08/15 Type of Harvest: Hand Picked Vinification Length: 20 days Vinification Method: traditional semi carbonique underground winery, no pumping (gravitation) 90% destemming, 20 days maceration, vinified and aged in oak barrels (no new oak). Ageing 9 to 15 months on fine lies. Vinification Temperature: 26 Age of Barrel: 2 years Level of Toast: middle Malolactic: 100% Date of Bottling: 2004/02/05 Alcohol Percentage: 12.8 % Aging Potential: 2009 Aging Time: 12 Sugar Rate: 0-5 g/l Cork Material: liege Cork Size: 49X24
