Antucura Malbec Blend 2003

Member Review by Eric Guido:

Purple color with red ruby around the rim. On the nose this wine is packed with Ripe strawberry, Rose Petal, Clove and vanilla with just a bit of forest floor funk that keeps it interesting. Flavors of black currant and cherries sing from the glass and with time turns to intense dark chocolate. Seems to be a bit of residual sugar. This is a great wine for entertaining but would be hard to pair with food due to it's low acidity and high alcohol. Finish is long and palette coating.

The winery sits below the Andes Mountains using ancient viniculture traditions and new vinification technologies, to produce premium wines. Read less
