Tasted at Prince Wine Store (South Melbourne (RP AUD$120). Clear, pale lemon colour. A clean nose, med+ intensity aromas of almond, white peach and nectarine. A dry, med+ bodied white wine with a smooth velvety texture, zesty and carrying more weight than a typical chardonnay. A well-balanced wine with appropriate amount of fruity acidity. Fleshy fruit flavours of peach and honeyed spices. Nice finish. Drink now – 2017. 92/100.

The White vine Terras de Lantaño smells fresh and with a little taste of strawberries..... A really "superb· vine, but cheap.
£14.22 2011 http://www.montalbera.it/eng/ruche.php Società Agricola Montalbera S.r.l. - via Montalbera, 1 - 14030 Castagnole Monferrato (At) ITALY - firstname.lastname@example.org £14.22 2011 Quite light. Not very serious since it starts out being very fruity. But then it moves on to give that classic Piedmont depth; this is true especially after its left open for a while/day. Overall its too (in a strange way) fruity for me. Perhaps the 2 rating is a bit harsh but not by much; I think I can find much better.
nice tuscan blend. smooth, light wood. great with veal shank
This wine was made under the supervision of Harald Junglen of Weingut Ackermann. He has been making Riesling in the middle Mosel for years, and Weingut Ackermann is a family-owned winery for many generations. With Harald's guidance and expertise, wine maker Barnaby Tuttle was able to capture the true style and essence of a German Riesling. Even though the fruit was grown in clay, and not slate- this Riesling has that petrol quality on the nose and lively tart zing with the right amount of residual sugar to balance it out. This '09 Riesling was listed as NW Palate's Magazine top wines for 2010.

I’ve actually never had a wine from Thorn-Clarke that I didn’t love, and the Terra Barossa Cab is no exception. Big and juicy, with soft black fruit and bold spice notes, this is a perfect wine for the grill.
Sassicaia is a unique interpretation of the Cabernet variety, a wine of great breadth, complexity and longevity. The intense blackberry and cassis aromas, offset by notes of smoke and spice, are confirmed on a palate of lush concentration underscored by firm, ripe tannins carrying into a long, elegant finish.
Deep garnet-purple colored, 2009 Terra Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon gives notes of warm black currants and blueberries with a whiff of dried mint and some underbrush. Very crisp in the mouth, it has a medium-full body and medium-firm grippy tannins, finishing medium-long. Drink it now through 2014.
Dunkles Granatrot.
A great value, Thorn Clarke’s 2009 Terra Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon boasts bold aromas of cedar, cassis and mint, then follows up with similar flavors. It’s medium to full in body, with firm tannins and mouthwatering acidity that make it drinkable now but suggest it may age nicely through 2020.
Bright ruby. Pungent aromas of cherry pit, dark berries, rose and smoky herbs. Then sappy and broad in the mouth, offering velvety cherry and candied plum flavors and a floral nuance. A jolt of minerality adds lift and carries through the smooth, seamless finish. This is ready to drink.
