I was very delighted by the Deep Color and rich nose on first spill. ** The wine seemed to be enjoyed from the bottle but was asked to be decanted -. I am sure the wine became richer by the moment. Deep and ready to drink now. Enjoy. Mille Gratis Antinori

Sattes Rubinrot. In der Nase eine dichte Aromadecke, Zedernholz, warme Gewürze und Kräuter gepaart mit Komponenten von Süssholz und schwarzer Frucht. Im Gaumen ein kraftvoller, energetischer Auftakt, aber trotzdem geschmeidig. Saftige Säure, strukturierende Tannine von Top-Qualität. Zu den Aromen der Nase gesinnt sich eine kompakte Frucht und ein Touch Leder. Der Abgang ist ausgewogen und von langer, aromatischer Nachhaltigkeit.

85% Sangiovese, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. On release, Tignanello 2006 has a very intense ruby red color and balanced ripe red fruit and spicy aromas on the nose. It is has a full, rich and round rich palate, dense without hiding its great elegance and complexity. A powerful wine, yet fine and pleasant to drink, with good length and an aftertaste packed with chocolate and citrus fruits. The tannins are pronounced, but smooth and silky, which, together with balanced acidity, assures Tignanello good ageing potential.

A very intense ruby red in color with purple highlights, the wine is immediately and suavely convincing in its aromas and harmonious in its expression of the characteristics of Chianti Classico as a zone. The nose is redolent of licorice, violets, and cherries under spirits together with notes of vanilla, chocolate, and sweet toasty oak, all of excellent intensity and sweet elegance. Fresh and savory flavors on the persistent finish add length and finesse.

According to Antonio Galloni - I can't remember a Tignanello with this much crystalline tension and pure energy. Simply put, the 2010 Tignanello is a magnificent, towering wine from Antinori.

Grappa Tignanello is obtained from the distillation of the marc from the Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes growing in the Tignanello vineyard which is situated on the Antinori estate 'Tignanello' in the heart of Chianti Classico. As soon as the marc has fermented, it is drawn off from the tanks and pressed, and immediately taken to the distillery. This procedure guarantees that distillation is carried out using the best quality marc possible - rich is alcohol and more importantly with good aromatic characteristics.
