Farbe: dunkles Rubin. Beerig im Duft, leichte Dörrfruchtaromatik und Noten von Unterholz. Frisch-fruchtig und süffig am Gaumen-unkompliziert und sauber vinifiziert.

Winemaker's Notes:

High on top of a Tuscan hill, in a triangle whose vertices consist of three of Italy's cities richest in history and art - Arezzo, Siena, and Perugia - springs forth the ancient town of Cortona. On one side Cortona is flanked by an open plain, and on the other side cascading hills and vallies. This is the view one can enjoy from the farmhouse in front of the Santa Cristina Winery. The first vintage of Santa Cristina, 1946, was made by Marchese Niccolò Antinori, father of Piero Antinori. This wine is ruby red colour with purple hues. Intense fresh fruit aromas with pleasant floral hints greet the nose. The palate is well-structured, generous, soft and harmonious. Sweet tannin and lingering fruit on the finish.
